The Father Christmas Cup - Saturday, January 11, 2014.
The 2013 Father Christmas Cup suffered through severe weather conditions that caused the original event date to be postponed and the rescheduled Youth Tournament to be cancelled. In spite of these challenges, the funds raised to support this year’s beneficiary families were still very strong with our total exceeding $23,000. We very much appreciate the generosity and cooperation of everyone who participated and volunteered at the event, and especially for the youth players, coaches and parents who were unfortunately prevented from playing this year, but still volunteered their donations. With the weather clearing for the afternoon, we saw the largest number of participants in the Adult Tournament’s history. We are excited to see how successful 2014 Father Christmas Cup can be if the weather will only cooperate a little!
Special Recognition is due to all of our Sponsors, large and small, that supported the 2013 Father Christmas Cup and those Sponsors that have continued their support over the previous years. A Very Special Thanks is owed to the Atlanta Silverbacks organization and the Park Employees that worked to support our event. As our Top Sponsor they generously donated the facility for both the original and rescheduled event dates. Without their support, it is easy to say that the Father Christmas Cup could not have become such an amazing and successful event.

Welcome to The Father Christmas Cup, an annual fundraising event held in early December to benefit a family or families in the soccer community who have recently suffered the unexpected loss of a parent.
Check out the silent auction for authentic football items.
Be sure to come to Fadofor the after party Saturday evening!
This year we are remembering and benefiting the families of Kenny Palmer, Dawn Arnstein, and Edgar Henao.
Traditionally a male O-30 invitational
tournament, the event has expanded to include a youth tournament to more closely reflect its aim of representing the Atlanta soccer community as a whole.
The FX Cup is excited about the prospect of hosting what we know will be a fun-filled afternoon for yet another segment of our dynamic soccer community.
